Discover Yoshiharu Ramen

Yoshiharu Ramen in Buena Park, California, offers an unforgettable dining experience for ramen enthusiasts. Located at 6940 Beach Blvd F-206, this cozy spot stands out for its authentic, flavorful dishes that transport you straight to Japan with every bite. Whether you're a ramen connoisseur or new to the world of Japanese noodles, Yoshiharu Ramen has something for everyone.

From the moment you step into the restaurant, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that mirrors the traditional yet modern vibe of Japanese ramen shops. The restaurant’s minimalistic decor creates a casual dining experience, where the focus is on the food. The open kitchen allows diners to watch their ramen being expertly prepared, adding to the overall experience. The scent of simmering broths and sizzling ingredients fills the air, making it nearly impossible to resist diving into the menu.

The menu at Yoshiharu Ramen features a variety of options that cater to different tastes and dietary needs. Signature bowls like the Tonkotsu Ramen stand as the centerpiece, with its rich, creamy pork bone broth that’s been simmered for hours to achieve the perfect texture and flavor. The noodles are cooked to perfection, chewy with just the right bite, while the toppings-such as tender slices of chashu pork, soft-boiled eggs, and crispy onions-complement the dish beautifully. For those seeking a spicier kick, the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen is a must-try, with a fiery broth that doesn’t overwhelm but elevates the dish’s complexity.

Vegetarians won’t feel left out either, with options like the Veggie Ramen, which uses a savory miso-based broth and features an assortment of fresh vegetables. Another standout item is the Shoyu Ramen, which has a soy sauce-based broth that’s lighter yet packed with umami flavors. The miso ramen options are equally popular, providing a rich and savory alternative that’s perfect for colder days.

But Yoshiharu Ramen doesn’t stop at just ramen. The side dishes are equally noteworthy. The gyoza, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, is a popular choice to pair with any ramen bowl. The takoyaki, or octopus balls, are another crowd favorite, offering a balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors, topped with bonito flakes that dance with the heat. And for a sweet finish, the matcha-flavored desserts are the perfect way to end your meal on a high note.

The restaurant's location in Buena Park, close to major attractions like Knott's Berry Farm, makes it a convenient stop for both locals and tourists. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or enjoying a leisurely dinner, Yoshiharu Ramen’s friendly staff ensures every guest feels welcome. The service is prompt, and the staff is always ready to help guide you through the menu, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The reviews for Yoshiharu Ramen are overwhelmingly positive. Many patrons praise the authenticity of the flavors, with several noting that the taste is as close as you can get to ramen you’d find in Japan. The atmosphere also receives high marks for its relaxed vibe, making it an excellent choice for both solo diners and groups alike. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food.

With its exceptional ramen bowls, flavorful sides, and welcoming atmosphere, Yoshiharu Ramen is a top destination for anyone in the Buena Park area craving authentic, satisfying Japanese comfort food. Whether you're visiting for the first time or a regular guest, every meal here feels like a special experience that leaves you looking forward to your next visit.

  • Ramen's the thing on a cool Southern California winter night, isn't it? It's hard to go wrong with the Black Tonkotsu Ramen, should you feel the need. Lovely pork broth, enhanced with black garlic oil. Thin, curly noodles done just so. Bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and a sprinkle of green onions. Interestingly enough, I don't typically eat green onions unless they're in ramen. The pork is flavorful and tender, though not melt in your mouth (although I have found that to be exceedingly rare). The egg is extra, but really... Who wants ramen without an egg. As you can see, I ate more than I should have. And I will return, perhaps to try a non-raman dish. Enjoy!

  • I've gone here probably 5 times the past year. They never have disappointed me and don't expect them to. Me and my friend two days ago got their spicy (mild) tonkotsu ramen. The ramen noodle itself felt a little bit more 'stringy' in texture but still delicious nevertheless. We got their gyoza and it was good but it does feel a little pricey for the amount we got. The customer service or the girls who attended us that day were so gorgeous and accommodating. That day they didn't have the volume on their TV like the last few times we went not that it's relevant to the food but usually me and my friends watch whatever is on when we are feeling a little tired. I love that they are generous with the seaweed in our ramen. The ladies handled it with care when they attended us and we're always enthusiastic. This ramen place is always my safe spot at The Source when I'm not splurging on sweets and albums lol. The atmosphere is always so "home-y" and has nice hues of orange and reds with delightful decor. If you don't like Ramen, then I highly recommend their deep fried food platter or their spicy tuna rolls. But Ramen is their speciality imo. In the picture I forgot to mix in the chili paste but my friend has hers mixed already for context. That's the gyoza we received.

  • Overall good experience here! The food was delicious & prices were reasonable, especially compared to other establishments within this mall. My only complaint about the food is that the edamame came drenched in salt—lightly salted is one thing, but bathed in salt is another I would definitely tell them to skip the salt next time since I like eating edamame to add a healthy touch to my meal, but all that salt basically defeats the point. I would also say to be aware that the appetizers and main dishes come out at the same time, at least in my experience. I was taken aback when we didn't even begin munching on our appetizers yet when they brought out our main dishes already. The portion sizes are pretty good and plates are shareable, though! The only other downside was that my friend and I wanted to eat outside and even though they had an outdoor dining area set up, they told us we couldn't for some reason :(

  • 1. The ramen dishes have a rich broth, and they were both delicious! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with a cozy interior! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with our order! Note: I did not easily see a restroom available for customers! Photo: Tonkatsu Shoyu and Tonkatsu Spicy Black
